Jan Skibinski is an Accountant, Money Manager and owner of Sage Money Managers, LLC, a money management company for businesses and individuals that offers solutions for handling the mundane to most complicated money matters. From bill paying, banking and bookkeeping to tax returns, budgeting, and debt counseling, she gets her client’s financial life in order and keeps it that way.
Her 30+ year career includes management and senior management positions in a variety of industries, as well as, being a small business owner. Her fields of expertise include Financial Management, Accounting, Information Systems, and all types of Administration. She loves what she does – providing peace of mind and exceptional service to all her clients.
She remembers all to well how difficult it was for her mother to handle routine financial transactions in her later years. Everything from making deposits and paying bills to bank reconciliations and reviewing her investment portfolio became daunting. Even though they lived over 800 miles apart, her mother relied on Jan to organize, review and explain her finances. From this experience, Jan gained new insight on the value of a trustworthy and experienced Money Manager providing this important service to individuals and businesses.
Ms. Skibinski has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana in Finance and Economics where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has since earned certificates in Modern Financial Analysis & Modeling, Activity Based Cost Accounting, Quality Improvement Programs, and Microsoft applications. She is an experienced user of Quicken and QuickBooks.
Member of the National Society of Accountants (NSA), American Association of Daily Money Managers (ADDMM) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Holds a Certificate of Completion from the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP).
